It gives us immense pleasure announcing the grand grand success of Jindal Bhaktivedanta Library. It is exclusively Lord’s munificent mercy and the restless efforts of team JBL and team JSP Foundation, which made this magnanimous project a glorious accomplishment.For this we extend gratitude from the bottom of our hearts towards Mr. Naveen Jindal and Mrs. Shallu Jindal, whose contribution was the backbone of the entire project and without their generosity this project would have remained a mere imagination.
We are also thankful to Mr. Prashant Hota, President, Group Head CSR, Education & Sustainability @ Final Steel & Power whose contribution was priceless and worked as the stepping stone for JBL to blast-off the journey from dream to reality. Since then, JBL has never turned back and is continuing to serve hundreds of students with the best of it’s capacity.The best part which distinct JBL is it’s 24*7 availability, serving more than 1000+ students in its 3 campuses along with accommodation for 50+ students.
More than 100 students are getting benefited from its pure vegetarian and nutritious food including breakfast, lunch & dinner – Everyday.
Students from different competitive backgrounds like Banking, SSC, Railway, GATE, NEET, OPSC, UPSC, JEE, CA, PG degrees etc, come to us and avail the facility. JBL is trending so swiftly that we are now impelled to increase seats.Government of India & Odisha Govt. has recently released many vacancies in different departments, and consequently there is a rapid spike in the demand of libraries.
Alongside, we are providing career counselling keeping in mind the professional, academic, emotional, mental and spiritual need of every student in person. Around 30-35 students on everyday basis come down to seek this rarest and most needed facility of our library.We also invite personalities like motivational speakers, life coaches, entrepreneurs, spiritual mentors etc for seminars on a regular basis so as to help me get an opportunity to interact with them and learn some real life hacks in the world of competition.
We feel proud to see students with maximum participation trying to make the best out of their time.In due course of time we have invited Mr. Avelo Roy, HH Lokanath Swami, HG Gauranga Das, HG Radheshyam Das, HG Gauranga Darshan Das, HG Amogh Lila Das, HG Vrajendra Krishna Das among many others who motivated the students in many ways and also helped them streamline their proficiency.
The most appreciable part in the functionality of JBL is its self evidence. Our dormitory inmates here are in charge of its management. This helps them build leadership qualities and also learn management skills while handling practical situations in their lives.
It doesn’t end up here, with this mega project we have generated part-time employment for now more than 15 students.Some of our library students have entered into the most prestigious institutes like IIT, AIIMS, Indian Statistical Institute, NITs etc.
